I don't see a command to do this. Maybe an API exists.

What I want is the name of a printer device dscription, and the sysdrvpgm that is used for it.

My first attempt was RTVCFGSRC. Information is there. A query can isolate the two lines in the file.

Question: Is there a way to prepare a report using SQL that has these two fields, or perhaps others, on a single line?

Or, is there a command or API I have not used?

Thanks

John McKee
