Mark,

I've been following your thread but haven't had anything worthwhile
contribute that others don't jump on a lot faster. What kind of program
is #2 (CL, RPG, etc.)? Does it do any overrides? Does it open any
display files even though it may not ever output anything to the screen?
It still sounds like a *RSTDSP problem. If program #2 opened a display
file then it might be blanking out the screen when control returns to
program #1. Just a thought.
