Seems like there was more to it than that, like setting up SMTP distribution
queue, network settings, other stuff... I think I remember most all of the
CFGTCP settings, but seems like there's something else I need to touch.
Our current system creates reports, creates a PDF of each (stored in IFS),
then generates an email destined for the recipient (using Mr Perotti's
utility). It uses the MAILROUTER parm to direct the generated email to a
3rd-party mail server (running on an in-house PC server), which actually
sends the email to the recipient.
I need to be sure that that process is replicated onto the new system but
darned if I can recall everything I did to get it flowing (generating the
reports, PDF and email is no problem, I got that). I got it working 7 years
ago and haven't touched it since so my recall of it is a bit lacking.

Check out the CHGSMTPA command. I think the MAILROUTER parameter is what
you're looking for.
