I don't believe that is true. If you do a WRKLNK, select an object with a 9
and do a 2 or F15 to change authorization list, it lets you specify an
authorization list but if you specify an authoritarian list, none of the
other parameters mean anything.

I set up an authorization list for this subdirectory and did a CHGAUT, but
it seems to have NO effect.

I even changed the authorization list to PUBLIC *EXCLUDE, with NO effect.

WTF?
