I was concerned about a possible network issue. We have quiet a few of these Lexmark printers. Can't remember the model numbers. But, if others had dropped PJL output, it would have been ugly. Seems isolated to this printer, or it's network connection.
When I started theer in 1996, there was almost no CAT5 cable. My pc was connected using an emulator board and a weird combination of cable types. Winked out "frequently". I definitely do not miss that connection. Thank goodness for the DSCJOB option. Saved me a great deal of pain.
