Greetings. Yea, the version numbers for the Fax support are a bit confusing
Here are the details.
Facsimile Support for iSeries V5R2M0 - This version will run on all IBM i
releases from IBM i V5R2 and higher (it will also work on IBM i6.1 & 7.1
but you need to do the object conversion!)
Facsimile Support for System i V5R7M0 - Some new features/functions and all
object converted to run on IBM i 6.1 & 7.1
Since you are going to IBM i 7.1 you really should be using the V5R7
version. Please see the Fax Product Web page for details
