Oops yep NiMH for that one. They won't have it on the shelf but can make one for $17 or so, at least around here they do. Takes 'em a day to make it.

2763 uses very common NiCd battery. Take it to batteries plus or your
favorite local battery house. Just be careful that you get the correct
polarity as they make that pack both - + and + - orientation on the
connector.
