Oooh... good to know, Kirk. Because this undoubtedly happens (or at least is noticed) when I can least afford the degraded performance! I may try that if things are too slow today.

For a short time.. You could just unplug it from the card for say 2min and
plug it back in. This should reset the Clock for the battery time. I
wouldn't want to run that way for long but a few days a week shouldn't be a
problem
