The iNav attempt at an equivalent [and richer?] feature to the Edit Rebuild Access Paths feature is not implemented directly on the internals utilized by the EDTRBDAP. IIRC, instead there are file(s) in the library QRECOVERY that are used to implement the iNav interface. The internal means to implement EDTRBDAP were presumably revised to provide updates to those TABLE objects in QRECOVERY. I am not sure what availability there is to the data in those database files, but at least the CL request to DSPFD for *MBR details should be available to show record counts; e.g. if not simply by a query being able to review the actual data. Located in QRECOVERY, the feature should be able to recover from their absence; presumably with no more negative consequences than the apparent incorrect output :-)

Using the iNav "Manage Index Rebuilds" screen (as per this article

see a list of files...

Two of which have a status of "Ready" and a priority of 75....yet
aren't rebuilding

The rest of which have a status of "Ready" and a priority of "Rebuild
at open"

Yet the EDTRBDAP green screen is empty...

I don't have the authority to change priorities, but using the
OPNDBF techinque show here:
http://www.itjungle.com/fhg/fhg012710-story03.html I tried to force
an access path rebuild. The jobs ended normally but the files are
still listed on the "Manage Index Rebuilds" screen.

Lastly, of the files listed, I checked a few using DSPFD, the access
paths show as valid.

Does anybody understand what is going on?
