You can also achieve much the same affect as signing-off and signing back on again, for example when debugging and recompiling, by issuing:

RRTJOB RTGDTA(QCMDI)

This "reroute job" starts a new routing step. This seems to reclaim all activation groups, and issues a RCLRSC for the DAG at the "top level", and so your job is reset to how it looked when you first signed-on.
