This has been discussed several times in the past, I think
you'll find it useful to search/read the archives.  (I've
primarily seen this discussed on the RPG400-L list.  Not so
much on Midrange-L)

I've dug up what I thought was this wonderful thread from way back in 2003.
http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/200306/msg00455.html

Lots of names that we all know in the same thread and a great example on binder source. I thought I had it sussed, but when I tried the example that showed how wrongly ordering the procedures in the binder source could cause the wrong procedure to be called, it didn't work.

If anyone wants to look at Barbara's example first...

I have my program calling P1 then P2.
I've added P3 to the SRVPGM's and created them with the wrong order P1, P3, P2.

But my program continues to call P1 then P2.
