Yes, you can do anything once you start writing SQL procedures, which
are in effect C programs with embedded SQL. Or, you can use RPG with
embedded SQL. Or you can skip the middle man and use RPG, which I like
to call "assembler for the database". With the IBM i, you can choose
the solution that best fits. :)
Which once again points out why the IBM i is the best platform on the
planet for developing business systems.
