Unless you're willing to use a printers manual feed tray and the rear
output tray, you're not going to find a standard laser printer with
"straight through" path. Or you could pay six-figures and get
"production" laser printer.

I've seen lots of IBM/Lexmark/Ricoh printers used in pharmacy's where
a label is printed as part of the patient instructions.

Okidata claims a straight-line path for their (color?) printers vs.
laser. But I believe they mean that the paper doesn't wrap around
multiple color drums. I've got an Okidata Color, and unless you use
the manual tray and rear output the paper path has bends in it.

You might contact the paper vendor and ask for recommendations.

Need to print 8.5x11 sheets on Adhesive label stock.  It's mostly a
single sheet with a die cut peelable label.  I've heard that the heat
from a laser printer can loosen the glue with increased potential for jams.

We're looking for a laser printer with a straight through paper path
which should minimize the chance of the label section coming off.  I'm
also wondering if anyone has any experience with adhesive stock that
isn't impacted by the laser heat.  Right now we're not talking huge
volume, maybe 300-400 sheets a day.

If anyone has any recommendations in this area, printer or paper I'd
appreciate your experience.

Thanks
