My user is not giving me a clear answer of exactly what happened.

He is saying that the panel was normal but the terminals were down.

Unfortunately he reIPLed the system to resolve whatever it was.

We will have to see if/when it happens again.

you are having packet issues. Any messages in QCFGMSGQ or QSYSOPR or
QSYSMSG? It could be an IP address conflict, bad NIC, bad Switch, bad
power?

More detail of what you mean by drops will generate more educated
guesses.
