I am working on a problem for a customer that is using V5R3.

There is a job description called AJOBD that is defined with a library list
of 15 libraries that includes LIBA, LIBB, LIBC and LIBD and are in the
first 4 slots of the defined library list. LIBA contains the data file that
I need to use.

A job is submitted through the SBMJOB command specifying using the AJOBD job
description. The program bombs because of a file level check.

When I look at the library list, (WRKJOB option 13), LIBA and LIBC are not
in the library list. Some of the other libraries are in the library list and
some are not.

If I remember correctly, and I have been away from application programming
for a while, shouldn't the library list in AJOBD replace the user portion of
the library list for that job that was submitted?

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
