Is there anything else on those lines? Could you just replace the whole
string/thing??

Something like UPDATE Myfile SET SRCDTA = 'MY_LABEL: CALL
PGM(MGRnewnumber)' WHERE SRCDTA LIKE 'MY_LABEL:%'

Or is each label different?

(don't quote my SQL-- I'm an amateur at this!)
