Will upgrading OS using Manual installation delete my spooled files

I am upgrading one of our systems from V5R1 to V5R3 and at the same time I
need to change

the primary language from 2984 (English DBCS) to 2924 (English)

I am going to delete secondary language 2924

Then I am going to use the Manual installation process to install V5R3 in
English (2924).



Does anyone know if I will lose all of my spooled files?

If yes is there a way to do this upgrade and change my primary language
without losing my spooled files?



My new OS media for V5R3 is for language 2924

Just FYI, I do have V5R2 media for language 2984 (and secondary language CD
for 2924)
