First what version of iSeries Access are you running? Do you have the
latest service pack from IBM installed?

If you are at V5R4 with the latest service pack, I would roll back one
fix at a time and see if it fixes the problem. Once the LAN console
starts working, reapply the other service packs, one at a time. Let us
know which service pack broke it.
