Unfortunately, at least if you were referring to the "E-mail IBM" link in the "We're here to help" box, it wasn't terribly helpful, at least not directly. All it got me was a reply that began:

Thank you for contacting IBM. The e-mail response center you have contacted is for non-technical inquiries . IBM offers a number of electronic support options to quickly and accurately resolve your current inquiry. You may visit the following Web site for online technical support information:
. . .

I'll have my colleague who is very good at getting help from IBM give me a hand this afternoon.
