Lovely! I also registered as a BP, haven't checked that yet, it'd be cool if, as you say, that let you specify the release, since we support several.

Vern,

The short answer is: No.

We systems guys don't like this much and they have said they plan to
fix it for machines with partitions. So far however even on FrankieV
which is good for V5R3, V5R4, 6.1 and 7.1 I can only see 7.1 for
download. IBM's response was: "Download everything for the current
release before you upgrade."..... Thanks for that..

Hi

We have a couple machines with v5r3 on a 520, v5r4 on a 515. I've
registered them at ESS (first time using that site - very cool). I
registered only with the serial number, so I can only see downloads.
They both have had upgrades ordered, up one release in each case, to
v5r4 on the 520 and 6.1 on the 515.

On ESS, all I see is the upgrade release - I'm wondering if there is a
way to see downloads there for an earlier release that was installed on
a box.

Hope that makes enough sense - at least grammatically!

Thanks
Vern
