Ok, CCSID and DFT might not...though I could have sworn I'd seen them do so....

But ALWNULL certainly does. :)

As does VARLEN and I'm sure others....

My point is that certain keywords affect the Record Format Identifier
and others don't.

It's easy enough to check to see if the record format identifier is
changed or not for a given change to the source.

The CCSID at the field level does NOT change the Record Format Level
Identifier...

- change other attributes of the field, CCSID, ALWNULL, DEFAULT...

None of those change the Record Format Level Identifier.
