Normally I would do this, but where I work, since this hits a production
table, I'd have to get approval from the database committee. The
requirements for something like this are quite stringent and, given our
needs, would be rejected since there is a viable workaround. Note that the
only users for this query are developers, and this would be used once when
we start a project for a given state, which is usually no more than 3 per
month.
