Bryce, I use notepad++ and I feel it IS an elegant way to do it as this is such an elegant tool. Shame it doesn't recognize RPG like it seems to recognize every other language. Particularly, I like to use it for an SQL scratchpad.

There might be a more elegant way to do it. But in order to
do it so that I don't get all the line number data on the
left hand side I use copy/paste to a notepad file. Clumsy,
but works. If anyone knows of a better way I too would love to know.

Thanks

Subject
Copy source file member to pc

All,

I'm having a brain freeze - I know that I used to copy
source file
members
from the AS/400 to a pc but can't recall how I did it. I
searched the
archives
and googled but can't seem to find the answer.

Would one of you kind folks please refresh my memory?

Thanks so much.

Warmest Regards,

Richard Reeve
