Sounds more to me that the rexec (or the CA for remote commands) services
are not running on the PC. And as previously mentioned the UAC (and
possibly the windows firewall) could be the culprit)

System i Access. It only tells you the version of PC5250. They never
match. Instead you should do Start, Programs, System i Access for
Windows, IBM i Access for Windows properties. This will also tell you
what level of Service Pack you have on.
