I had that thought. The press is very pro-Apple these days.

My guess is there were back-room discussions on the names and some sort of
agreement has been created. Maybe i/OS will be renamed again with the next
release.

It would appear that even Apple has an i/os now. Is ANYONE at IBM
enforcing
trademarks or are we just going to see continued slide in iSeries/AS400
product recognition and additional dilution?
