A clarification...


if the user can initiate an FTP session to your
system the LMTCPB(*YES) has NO effect at all. LMTCPB is only checked from
the command line.

IBM actually corrected this in V3R7, so assuming your at a release more current than that, the LMTCPB flag will be enforced on FTP sessions where the IBM i is the server. LMTCPB is not enforced on DDM (via SBMRMTCMD), and iSeries Access' RMTCMD command (Come to think of it, I haven't checked that on V7R1, so can't say for sure that this is still true for all releases).
