I don't understand what WebCrawler has to do with initiating a command
n a server. (WebCrawler is a search engine... and "web crawler" is a
ype of software that collects information from the Internet... so I
uess I don't know what you're referring to!)
Obviously there are about a million ways to run a command. The most
bvious are:
1) RUNRMTCMD/rexec
) STRPCCMD (requires an emulation window)
) ssh (depending on if the server supports it)
) web services
Of those, the first two aren't especially secure, and aren't easy for
rograms to interact with.
The last two are much more secure, but also more complex to set up and
dminister.
