That tool assumes you will edit in SEU, as far as I can tell. That's a limitation, since SEU is not being updated for new functionality.

I see Dan trying to edit in RDp or whatever he has now from a STMF with extension of the member type - he did a copy/paste inside of RSE. Seems it works fine.

There is also the iSeries tools for Developers - it has lots of the GNU tools, including gmake. What's lacking in this context is Subversion, probably. Jon Paris recently was given the new link to the download of this toolkit.
