The page on IAS says that it is all included in the HTTP group PTF. You have to have at least V5R4, however. Here is the answer in the FAQ -

"To obtain the integrated Web application server, load the prerequisites and PTFs listed on the Support page <http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/i/software/ias/support.html>."

So you just need to know you have the latest group PTF for HTTP.

It also looks as if everything for IWS is in the group PTF, as well as needing the licensed products and options specified on that page.

Pretty nice for simple stuff, it seems.

IAS (Integrated Application Server) is a lightweight application server
available on the i. There's tools in RDi to build a quick SOAP web

wants in a matter of hours if it is simple.
It looks like we have everything listed under "prerequisites" for IWS/IAS
(with the possible exception of the group PTF, and a Java feature that
appears to only apply to the web services client), but I'm having a bit of
trouble determining whether or not we actually have IWS/IAS itself, and
the "getting started" docs don't say much between the prerequisites and
"creating a server".

What should I look for?
