"If done properly" was a key phrase there. One could write one's own logs,
right? And/or use the syslog facility?

And/or one could change the job description so that that log won't
disappear. (See 3rd LOG parameter on SBMJOB, CRTJOBD and other commands.)

You mentioned the logs will give me more information. But if the job
ended
normally, there would be no job log.
Also, go problem does not show me anything.
What logs are you referring to? Thanks.
