The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Use CCSID 437 when copying files to an NFS share.
Also make sure your Linux export has anonuid=0 and anonguid=0 set for
permissions.
Why copying from/to the iSeries, the calls always seem to go out with
uid=0
Have fun.

Well moving the folders on both machines out of the /home folder
structure
has solved the mounting and displaying the contents of the target on the
Linux machine.
Now I'm having some difficulties with CCSID's. I'm trying to copy some
random STMF files from the i5 to the Linux box by copying them into the
folder that is mounted. Just can't seem to get it to complete a copy. I
will do more Monday. Hey I might even do some reading!
