Sounds similar to an error on a 6.1 go to a savf... but can't find my
notes...

Hi All,

I currently have a PMR open with IBM, which they don't know yet how to
fix - which is why i'm posting here, in the hope someone else had a
similar issue.

A customer of us has a new Power 6 8203-E4A, running V7R1. This
machine was installed 2 months ago and worked flawlessly. This week,
we upgraded the software installed on the machine, which converted the
database to a newer format (using CPYF). Now, all Saves on certain
object in the data library fail with MCH5601, and a SAVLIB also fails
(also with MCH5601).

Installed on the machine:
SF99710 10096
SF99709 5
SF99709 10
SF99708 2
SF99701 2
SF99572 2
SF99368 2
SF99362 3

Ran RCLSTG *DBXREF, didn't change a thing. Ran RCLLIB, didn't change a
thing. No entries in LIC log.

The affected files can be used normally, the software works fine, the
customer just can't save his data.

A CPYLIB works fine, however the copy of the library can't be saved either.

Does anyone have a good idea on what to do now? Not having any backups
is very, very bad.

Regards,

Lukas Beeler
