The easiest way I've come up with for protecting my system command objects is to save them as part of my regular save process using the SAVOBJ command (Or create a list in BRMS) ...

Then if I need to restore something, I can just use RSTOBJ and my SAVE Tape ...

It has saved my butt a couple of times over the years ....

I'm not sure if there is a way to restore a single command from a SAVSYS tape ...

I forget how to restore a single IBM provided command from a SAVSYS backup... can anyone give the method?
