Hi,
I have to make certain changes to Start up program on AS400(add new lines of code).
Do I need to take any special precaution while compiling the source or do I just add the code and compile the source in the library which the start up program currently belongs to.
Pls advice
Sneha
No nothing special. Give it any name and location you like and change
system value QSTRUPPGM to run your program instead of the default. A
word of caution: be certain to allow all errors in your command: MONMSG
MSGID(CPF0000). That way if there's an error with your added code, the
system will still IPL normally.
