Hi Sneha

*http://tinyurl.com/2c4pjfd *will take you to the page on IBM's site
that tells you how to do this. I should assume you have seen something
like this, but it never hurts to refer to it.

There's nothing too special to deal with, unless you have something that
requires some authority or access to files or whatever. Normal stuff.

So it depends on what you are adding - can you specify that?

The source for the startup program can be different at every release of
the OS (the page is for v5r2) - be sure to do what the page says and
RTVCLSRC. I might also suggest not to compile it as CLLE, so that you
can retrieve the source of your modification later.

Hi,
I have to make certain changes to Start up program on AS400(add new lines of code).

Do I need to take any special precaution while compiling the source or do I just add the code and compile the source in the library which the start up program currently belongs to.

Pls advice
Sneha
