Anyone have any experience with an older Model 9406-170, Proc Feat 2159
running V5R2M0 and upgrading the memory? Currently it has 2 x 128mb option
3002-00 chips in the memory expansion board. I pulled the board out and it
has 16 slots, two of which are being used. Everything I can find indicates
that this system has a max system memory of 832mb, which would be ~6 x 128mb
chips.

Does anyone know if this model / feature can actually support more than the
832mb of memory? If I fill every slot will the system work with 16x128, but
not support more than 832 in the OS? Seems weird to have so many slots and
only support half of them if they're filled with 128mb modules.

Anyone have any luck putting more memory into this beast than the 832mb
"limit"? Or know which slots to populate if I put in another 4 x 128mb
modules?

Leonard
