To Mike - are you referring to LUG as "local user groups", or to the LUG that is the "large user group" that acts as an advisory to IBM? If so, maybe you could try connecting with IBM's education inititiative - I'm not sure of where to go for that, either, sorry.

To Rob - just curious - for some reason, the quoted material in your replies doesn't stay in my replies - am using Thunderbird - wondering if anyone has an idea why - I like to keep as much context as needed in replies. I pasted the stuff below that starts with "Group Dekko...", which did not come along originally.

That's up to the individual LUG's. Whether they publish a list on their
websites, supply one upon request, or refuse out of concern that someone
may be looking for a marketing list is up to that group. Most LUG's have
a contact info or a listing of their board members that you could contact
for information.

Might there be a list of LUG members available somewhere I could get my
hands on? I work at a college and I have been keeping a list of companies
that user iSeries as I see articles about them and then show that list to
the administrators who decide on what gets to be part of the IT majors
curriculum. The list of LUG members might be a nice addition to my list.

Thanks
