That is true, you can even add custom commands to RSE, so if we started
with a PDM plugin, commands could be added to RSE to execute them until we
had a more integrated solution built.

The SVN plugin's for eclipse work using the Team provider API's ... the
RSE does not currently support the Team API.

There are (relatively) easy ways to add sub-menus & actions to RSE items
using a Eclipse plug-in.
