Everything about a 5250 session is held in the .WS file for the session. It's like an INI file. If you right-click the icon on your desktop, or wherever, select to open with Notepad or Wordpad - it's just a text file, after all.

Just to clarify I am asking about the printer default for a client access session. When you select file then printer setup and then pick a printer for that session to print to. Not the default printer for my user profile for Windows all together. I could not find the reg edit entry you referred to. I am running windows XP on my computer if that makes a difference.

Thanks,

What is the file name that stores the default printer information on the local PC for a client access session.

The default printer is part of Windows, not part of Client Access.

It's saved in the registry - HKCU\Printers\Defaults
