The clue I am pursuing is "session". I am going to assume you meant 5250
session. Therefore you can do DSPDEVD (that session). For example if my
5250 session is ROBS1 and I do DSPDEVD ROBS1 I will see:
Print device . . . . . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL
Output queue . . . . . . . . . . . : *DEV
Then if I do DSPSYSVAL QPRTDEV I will see that it's P5.
