It's been a while since I tinkered but isn't there a copy of the
installation disks somewhere in the IFS.
I have a vague recollection of the Client Access disks being held somewhere
in the IFS.
I could be mistaken.

Subject: System i Navigator functions missing

System(s) are running V5R4M0 with System i Access for Windows V6R1M0
SI29455.

If I could put my hands on the installation disks, I know that I could get
this working, but I do not have access to them.

My client has [apparently IBM i ignorant] network people who write scripts
for the software installations as pushes from a server, and apparently they
are not very knowledgeable of the features available in System i Navigator.
On my desktop system (all desktops are running Windows XP) these features
are installed and working, but several of my coworkers are missing this
functionality.

Question:
What System i Access for Windows features must be installed for the
Navigator to allow Basic Operations, Databases, and File Systems to appear
when you expand a system under System i Navigator?

Regards,
sjl
