Re: Use mixed sizes drives in the same Raid string

There are some out of work midranger's out there who'd be happy with a
temporary job running DUPTAP from QIC to LTO for you.
I'm sure you could find a service or two to do it.
Maybe even a night operator who has both pieces of hardware who is bored
to death and can get a few done at a time during the night.
Then again, you may decide that the stuff on QIC is expendable and just
start saving your stuff on LTO. Charles Wilt assures me that those
shredding companies who'll show up to your site can easily shred 1/4"
cartridges. Forget firearms. I found that a reel-to-reel tape will
deflect a .50cal muzzleloader round ball quite easily (when shot
edgewise).
