If the setup is not too complex I can test your services on a 6.1 or 5.4 OS.
I'm already sure about the 5.4 machine since I recently added some NEW
services (and yes the user has a password and it's not the same as the user
name). The "old" services has been there since jan 2008. I didn't test the
Web Services Server on V6.1.

If you are interested let me know.

Thanks Marco but I don't see anything relevant in the thread and all
the docs it points to are the generic stuff I've gone through - no
hard technical details unless I've missed it. There is quite a bit
there on the client side - but that's not what I need and frankly
can't see why anyone would use it when HTTPAPI and WSDL2RPG are
available.

The docs folder only contains one small readme file with next to
nothing in it.
