i see PDM being "flung" out a lot on this topic. SEU is the editor, PDM
is a completely different animal.
Similarly, I see WDSc being flung out a lot (was not actually this topic
but the 'Change management systems' topic).
LPEX is the editor, it's only one part of WDSc. Comparisons between SEU
and LPEX make sense, comparisons between SEU and WDSc don't.
The Remote Systems Explorer in WDSc is not the equivalent of PDM, but
comparible.
To make a fair comparison for IBM i development, WDSc should be compared
to using SEU and PDM and Command Line and RLU and SDA and ISDB and (for
certain basic functions) WRKQRY.
The majority of opinions expressed on that topic are not comparing like
for like. This is of course just my opinion.
