We are still in the midst of testing but it definitely seems that the
32bit J9 is a great performer compared to the classic 64bit.

From what one of my vendors has told us, it's better advantage to
change to the newest version of Java. It's more efficient and will work
way better for apps.

Would anyone advise for or against changing the default JVM from Classic
to the 32 bit version on V5R4?
Where would you make a global change for the default?
Hey I just upgrade from V5R3 to V5R4 on Sunday and I want to improve my
JAVA performance. ( We are calling a JAVA stored procedure from an IIS
web server. Don't ask me why I would love the developer to rewrite in
RPGLE and take JAVA out of the equation.)
