Do you know what a Domain Name Service or DNS is? I would eschew the use
of a host table or hard coded IP addresses. Instead I would use a DNS.
When you have a DNS you can 'PING' it by name and it will tell you the IP
address. Try pinging nra.org. To enter in your DNS entries type in
CFGTCP

If you're shy about talking to your network person then you can try, from
a DOS prompt on your PC,
NSLOOKUP NRA.ORG
And the address line immediately underneath server is the address of ONE
of your DNS. Most companies with more than a small number of computers
have more than one. We have three or more. Again, I recommend talking to
your network people and figuring out what the addresses are and enter them
all (or up to three) in CFGTCP.
If NSLOOKUP returns nothing, then you're one of the rare companies with NO
DNS (or your PC is really set up wrong). You can configure your i to be a
DNS. It's in iNav. Our DNS in the DMZ is hosted on i.
