After an upgrade to V6R1, the following mount command fails:
MOUNT TYPE(*NFS)
MFS('192.168.x.x:sharename')
MNTOVRDIR('/ifspath')
CCSID(1252 *ASCII)
The command worked prior to V6R1, but now fails with CPFA1C6:
Cause . . . . . : The value supplied for the File system to mount
(MFS)
parameter does not have the form hostname:pathname. You must enter a
value
of this form when you choose *NFS for the Type of mount (TYPE)
parameter.
The IP is that of a Window 2003 server with the requisite extensions, and
the sharename has not changed. I can still attach to that IP and sharename
from another Windows box.
The user profile does have *IOSYSCFG, and the folder has write authority,
etc. Nothing changed on the Windows box; only the i5 went from V5R4 to
V6R1.
Any clues what could be wrong?
