I know this has been discussed before, but it's been kind of sporadic.

So thanks to the with help from the YiPS I got Git installed in PASE.
http://www.youngiprofessionals.com/wiki/PASE/OpenSourceBinaries

The problem I am having is that I get an error message when attempting
to execute git commands. Here is the error message:
"git: can't find the terminal type xterm in the terminfo database"

I've saw a post in the WEB400 by Pete Helgren that indicated he got it
working through VNC.
(http://archive.midrange.com/web400/200903/msg00088.html). I installed
VNC on my server and VNC Viewer from RealVNC on my laptop. I still get
the same error.

I'm hoping there is a setting or something I need to change. I'm not a
PASE/AIX guru by any means so it could be something simple.

Thanks in advance,
