Subject: Re: Java performance on the i ? Good? bad? OK?
What did I say that was FUD?!
I don't like the Java programming language. The syntax is cumbersome.
The environment is too complicated. The add-ons like JavaEE, JSP, JSF,
Struts, exacerbate that complexity.
I just don't like Java. I never have. Nothing I'm saying here should
surprise anyone on Midrange.com, as I've been talking about how I
dislike Java for years.
But I don't see how that's FUD. It's an opinion. I'm entitled to my
opinion, aren't I?

Scott,
I really thought *you* didn't do FUD.
Java sucks on the i, maybe, but "in general"... please elaborate.Maybe you mean Java EE sucks... or WAS sucks, JSF... What does "in general" mean, with such a vast Java ecosystem.
If you mean that the JVM sucks, in general, performance wise, then you probably didn't really look for the last 10 years.
