Another way might be to dump what what is in the AUTL and then model it on
the other box. I did find a RSTAUTL command in TAATOOLS.

Jack,

That was certainly an interesting read. I didn't think about reading the
help for RSTUSRPRF. But I don't think UsrPrf(*All) is a viable solution
here; i.e., I'm going to restore all of the user profiles from development
to production? Maybe on the day I hand in my resignation.

I guess I'll just manually define the list on production, though I was
hoping to include its restore and application in my conversion procedure for
the project.

Thanks.

Jerry, found this that might help. How often are you going to be adding
and
doing things with the AUTL.

I created a new authorization list on our development System i. I would

RSTOBJ does not recognize *AUTL as an supported object type. The
SAVSECDTA
help says to use RSTUSRPRF command and RSTAUT, but those only restore
user
profiles (at least I could not figure out how to restore an authorization
list).

I even thought about using iNav to drag and drop. Doesn't like that.

So, how do I get the authorization list to the other System i? Also, I
regularly run the SAVSECDTA command, but what does it do for me if I can
only restore user profiles?
